Scrapbook Circle Blog Hop!

Hello everyone! Today is blog hop day at Scrapbook Circle. If you've stumbled here by chance, I suggest you go check out Scrapbook Circle's blog. Now, if you've hopped on here from the Scrapbook Circle blog, you are on the right track! I now get to share with you the four projects I made with this kit. I am not lying to you when I say it has been my favourite of my entire DT term! I found the colours so inspiring, and I loved the mix of Crate Papers and Pink Paislee.

First off, here's a non-holiday layout, Bookworms. I love challenging myself to make a non-themed layout with (mostly) themed papers.



Next is a fun card using Basic Grey paper, Crate Papers chipboard shape and American Crafts glitter chipboard shapes. Of course, my trusty Martha Stewart edge punch was used to give dimension to the tree. I also added some Stickles to the Crate chipboard to make it blend in better with the American Crafts ones.



Here's a layout that I intend to frame and pull out every year at Christmas time! It's my second time using this picture, can you blame me? I wonder if my kids will be so cooperative this year when I pull out the hats and the camera!



Finally, here is my favourite project for this month. I used an 8x8 canvas and covered it with Crate Papers using Terrifically Tacky Tape to make sure it stayed put. Add a few Crate chipboard embellishments and those awesome Pink Paislee glitter letters and voila!

Radiant Harvest, Scrapbook Circle's November Kit

Scrapbook Circle Reaveal, Part 1

Here are the first 2 layouts I've made with the October kit from Scrapbook Circle.

The first one is made primarily from Bella Blvd. That yellow paper is such a happy paper, dont you think?! :) I'd been waiting for the perfect time to talk about "the ears". This is such a family trait, I'm going to have to make a layout with pics of me (pre- pinned ears), my dad and the kids.






This layout was made with a mix of in-your-face Sassafras and Bella Blvd. Amplify from Sassafras is definitely a line that needs to be used in small doses. I do love the colours. The robot stickers are from the Bella Blvd sticker sheet.

Scrapbook Circle Reveal (finally!)

Normally, I would've been able to show you these projects a lot earlier in the month. However, Canada Post being ever so reliable, it took 3 weeks for my kit to reach me. On a side note, if you want to see how awful Canada Post can truly be, check out this link to see what happened to my pal JJ.

Then I had to find the time to actually scrap. I'm in big purge mode since we are probably going to have to empty the house while they make repairs, so my time is limited.

And then, my internet got wacky. And of course, "they" can't find the problem. So uploading has been a pain. I'm hoping this post goes thrugh, the internet is not so bad today ! :)

So here are my four projects, using Lily Bee, Pink Paislee and Jenni Bowlin.

Paw Prints, Transformers & Candies, Oh My!

I went a little crazy with the title, lol! I can't believe I managed to fit that super-long title and 4 photos on one page! I still think it works.

For the pictures, I used the 70s action by The Pioneer Woman. Love it!

Cosmo Cricket's "The Boyfriend" is so cool! I made this layout at Erin's last Tuesday. You know, the day I came home and found my kitchen flooded? Yup. That day. At least, something good came out of that day! :)

Do Not Try This At Home **Scrapbook Circle August Kit**

My Scrapbook Circle August kit arrived on Friday, so I attacked it as soon as I could! I am telling you, it is gorgeous!

This picture is definitely not the best, what with the condos in the background and the ugly cables, but I really wanted to scrap it. Sean was so proud on that day!

I took advantage of all the white space to take on my pal Mélanie's challenge on the Scrapbook Circle blog. It was not a challenge per se, but she talked about putting the journaling in a corner. I decided it was time for me to try this new trend. I have a feeling you will be seeing more of this on future layouts!
