You Are Home

Yesterday on Practical Scrappers we were sharing 10 ways to use burlap on your projects.  Here is my layout using burlap butterflies from Little Yellow Bicycle.

I decided to stamp on them to give them a different look. I used texture stamps on the two on the right, and decided to use date stamps on the one on the left.  Unfortunately, I made a mistake in my date. It should say "2011", not "2012". I'm going to have to find a way to fix that. I think I'll have to use a completely new butterfly.

I loved working with the Family Ties collection from Pebbles (courtesy of Scrapbook Centrale). I thought it was great how well it matched with some Jillibean Soup stickers I had in my stash.

Make sure to check out the rest of the Practical Scrappers design team take on burlap on this post.

Supplies:
Papers and Dimensional Stickers: Pebbles (Family Ties)
Burlap Butterflies: Little Yellow Bicycle
Letters and decorative stickers: Jillibean Soup (Cold Cucumber Soup)
Ink: Memento

Can't Help but Love You

Hello everyone, it's been a while, hasn't it?  I've been scrapping, but simply couldn't get around to posting.  Hopefully I can make it more regularly.

Here's a layout I made this past summer for Scrapbook Centrale to showcase Pebbles Inc. Sunnyside collection.

Speaking of Pebbles Inc., have you seen their new collection Seen & Noted? I love it, the colours are gorgeous!  Hopefully I'll get to share a layout with those papers soon :)

The Day You Became Spot : : Pebbles

Hello everyone, it's been a while, hasn't it?

I haven't been scrapbooking much lately, for 2 reasons.

First, my scrap area is a mess! You see, we are repainting the basement where my stuff is, so everything is on top of everything. I can't find what I need and it's quite frustrating.

Second, I've been working on a project that I'm hoping to be able to share with everyone in the next week or two. It's really fun, but it's also a lot of work.

Until then, let me share this layout with you. Kira loved it when my friend Erin painted her face to go with the costume she was wearing!

Supplies:
Papers: Pebbles
Letters: Jillibean and Kaisercraft
Journaling card: Sweetwater
Chipboard heart: Heidi Swapp
Punch: EK Success
Pen: Sakura
Ink: Nick Bantock
