It's been a while...

I got so used to writting my blog regularly that even 5 days off seem like forever! I have so many things to talk about I don't know where to start!

Yesterday, we went to the doc's for Sean's 4year-old checkup and vaccination. He was sooooo good! He thought the checkup was really funny, with all the gizmos and lights! And the shot.... He did not say a word! He was stunned for a second, but when he saw the bandage, he was a happy boy (you know how much he loves a good bandage, lol!) And the fact that the doc drew a happy face on it sealed the deal!

We also discussed his speech problems. I told him how he talks fairly well, but he had problems articulating some sounds correctly. He will be seeing a speech therapist, but it takes forever to get an appt. So the doc looked him up. Turns out Sean's tonsils are really big (but he doesn't hurt, they're just big.) Then the doc asked me if Sean snores. He snores a lot! He said, you know what? We'll have him checked out by a ear/throat specialist. Oftens kids who have tonsils like that have a hearing problem. Not that he can't hear, but that he doesn't hear well. Which could explain why some words are not articulated properly. We'll see, maybe we can find an answer for all of this!

Also... I found out that my mom wont be able to babysit the kids on July 26th, the day of the all-day crop at Scrapbook Centrale. Since Keith will be playing softball at 10:30, it means I wont make it to the crop until 12:30. I am so bummed!!!!!!!!!

On Saturday, I went to my friend's Isabelle's place. She was purging her scrap stuff and needed my help. We went to get shelves at IKEA, and then went through a lot of her stuff. I didn't see the room finished, I had to come back home, but I'm sure it'll look great! And I came home with a bunch of cast-offs, gotta love that! :)

Also, she works at Fruits et Passion and she gave me some Cucina hand soap as a gift, a soap I always love when I go to her place. Love it!

Have a great day, I'll be back later with my latest layouts!

One of my sons had to go through speech therapy for a few years. Hopefully the ENT specialist can figure things out for him. :)

Oooooh, that sounds promising... going to an ENT specialist to see if that's the underlying cause. Good luck with that! I hope you get some answers.
