Gas Comes From Dinosaurs : : My Mind's Eye

Some parents are really hard on the TV and the computer. They will hardly let their kids watch or play on computers. While I support every parent's decision on how to raise their own child, I really believe that both these tools get a bad rap. Granted, I would not let my kids be in front of screens all day. They need to play with toys, play with others and go outside. But nowadays, TVs and computers are really great tools to teach new things to our kids. A lot of shows and games are educational while still being fun for the kids.

Which is why I was so proud when Sean said this to me. It may not be exactly right, but you can tell he really learned something that might have not come up if he hadn't seen it on TV or on the computer. Fossilized fuels do not come up often in our conversations at home, lol!

Oh ! Une nouvelle coupe de cheveux ? Il a l'air tellement "grand garçon", c'est fou... le sourire, la coupe, ça le vieillit !

I do agree with the learning bit about tv and computers. A lot of the time the shows that my kids watch are things that I have recorded from discovery, history, or the cooking network. It's fun to be able to discuss something or comment how cool things are. This layout is ADORABLE! the journaling is just perfect.
