I'm calling this card-making day!

This weekend will be a long one, and not in the sense that we usually say "long weekend". You see, Keith's company Vitrerie DD is changing location. It's all for the best, since they'll be in a prime spot right off the autoroute and he'll be closer to home. However, it also means he's had to work doubly hard (and if you know my husband, you know that he's an incredible hard worker) getting the move ready and keeping up with the day-to-day of the business. So today, Saturday, he's gone all day to move stuff. All day. As in: it'll be dark by the time he comes home (and he left at 6 this morning!) He'll also be gone part of tomorrow, if not all day also.

Which means I don't get a break in my day-to-day. I love my kids, but I need weekends where I'm not the only one who has to feed them, clothe them, change diapers and make sure they don't hurt themselves too badly.

So what do I do? I call this card-making day! Why not scrapbooking day? Because I have no inspiration for layouts today. So I'll just play with my Scrap Within Reach papers and try to come up with publishable cards. It's time I got something from SWR published: the papers are gorgeous and they need to be seen!!!

So will you join me and make a few cards?

Thanks for stopping by♥

My cards usually suck. I don't think I'll be making cards today.

Claude, I TOTALLY hear you about the break. I'm planning on sneaking off for some alone time. I'm getting tired of the whinning and fighting! I'll try and make some cards and share!!

I did make a card today with the leftovers from a layout ( A la Claude!)
I hope the day went as smoothly as possible for you and for Keith!
