Back from Vegas!

Wow, what an awesome time we had!

We left home Friday morning at 6, our flight being at 8:25. It takes quite a while to get through customs now (understandably), so you have to make sure you are there ahead of time!

We flew from Montreal to Denver; the flight was about 3:15 hours. I had an aisle seat, which was fine with me since I hadn't flown in 15 years and I was a little nervous. From Denver to Vegas, tho, I sat near a window. BIG MISTAKE!! I have motion sickness. I am 6 months pregnant and my nausea still hasn't subsided. You can guess the rest! I had never heard of anyone actually using the "barf bag" they provide... It was used plenty then, lol!

When we got there, we went to relax in our room for about an hour, and then we went out walking. Wow, you walk a LOT in Vegas! My poor back was hurting me soooo much, but I enjoyed everything! It's amazing to see the oppulence, the money, people walking outside with their drinks (yet, no one was drunk). I really liked the Ceasar's Palace, the Madalay Bay and, mostly, the Bellagio. Just gorgeous!!! On Friday night, while Corina and Jean-Sebastien went out clubbing, Keith and I went to the Star Trek Experience (see below for more)! When we came back, I took a warm bath to relax my back (not too hot, don't worry!), then we watched a few of the fountain shows (one every 15 minutes) and we went to bed. It was around 11PM, which is 2AM our time. Since we had woken up at 5AM our time, we were exhausted!

On the Saturday, more walking, but not with C & JS, since I walk more slowly and I didn't want to feel rushed. Also, they wanted to go shopping, and since there is no way we could afford Channel and Prada, we prefered to just keep visiting, at our pace!

At night was Celine's show. Keith and I are not fans, and she didn't convert us, but we had to admit her show was AMAZING! An hour and a half of great singing (she is one of the rare ones who sounds the same on stage as she does on her albums! The girl can sing!) Plus, the dancers are amazing and the sets take your breath away! We had a great time! Baby danced his/her way through The Power of Love, it was funny! And Mommy cried the entire time Celine sang "If I Could"! BTW, twelfth row center is a great seat! She was 30 feet away, and the way the seats are placed, no one is hiding you!

Sunday, we had a great brunch and had to leave, since our flight was at 11AM. Nervousness plus a big breakfast didn't mix well: I was sick yet again, but this time before I got on the plane! I asked to sit in the aisle, lol!

We got home at around 8:30 PM, there were some delays. Sean was so exstatic to see us, he was running around everywhere, hugging everyone and being silly!
