Hello everyone! My pals Erin and JJ are on the DT for this cool challenge blog called Challenge YOUrself. It's a scrapbooking blog that challenges you to create layouts with YOU in the photo! Great concept, right? We tend to forget about ourselves. I promised my friends I'd take part in the challenges :)

This month, they have a colour challenge. Here's the awesome colour combo: 

And here is my interpretation. I was hoping the plum would show up more (splatters), but it still works.

Celebrating 12 years

This picture was actually taken last year.  This coming August will be lucky year thirteen for us as a married couple! Yay! We have been together for 19 years, I always feel I need to mention that fact ;)

Thank you to the Challenge YOUrself  blog for inspiring me to get this picture off of my phone and onto a layout. The challenge is about YOU and the male(s) in your life. You have until July 4th to participate too if you feel like it!

I used sketch #397 from Scrapbook Challenges to make this. I'm not usually a fan of large triangles like this, but I really like how it turned out! Challenge closes on June 30.
