I'll be honest here: when I saw this week's challenge over at SWAT, I got worried. Mixed media is not my thing at all. I love what others make, but it's just not my cup of tea. After a day or two of thinking about, I decided to embrace it fully.
I took out a 6x12 canvas, acrylic paint, Dylusions mists, stamps, inks, Mod Podge, stencils, letters and finally, my running shoe!
Armed with an idea given to me by my friend Eliane, I came up with this:
I absolutely love it, and it inspires me daily to keep working hard!
Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.♥
